i enter service mode.
then do i need lv2 diag or lv2diag3.55 on root with ps3upd.pup 3.15
You need the first lv2diag.self file and a firmware that is less then 3.41 but equal to or greater then the firmware that your console came with from the factory. Once it's done flashing that, put just the 2nd lv2diag.self file on a USB thumbdrive and boot the PS3 with it in the right slot. It will startup and shutdown. Bootup without anything in the USB ports, and you should be on the firmware you downgraded to.
I keep getting a flashing green light after a few minutes and the system doesnt shut down, when i eventually restart and put file 2 on usb in right port i get a please insert update of ***** or greater.
Just to double check as ive tried with 3.15 and 3.55.
I need to enter service mode via jb device. DONE.
I need to put lv2diag file 1 on usb root with ps3updat.pup.
but does the lv2diag need to be the original one for 3.5 and below or lv2diag for 3.55
Thanx again in advance
Needs to be the original one from the DGF.rar package. Some users have reported success with the newly modified one, but I say, if the old way is working, don't screw with it.
thanxs, i have sucess.

It's cool. Glad to hear you recovered from your semi-brick. Enjoy having 3.41 back
