Registry reveals jailbreak usage! –
I was looking through my registry and I remembered that each setting is moved to the bottom when its modified or created. I then noticed that the "/setting/np/debugConsoleBind" setting was edited just before the "/setting/net/wepKey" setting. It turns out that when I first hacked my PS3 I changed my WEP key in order to connect to my router. I haven't used my PS3 in months, so the only thing I could think to explain it would be the jailbreak. I thought it was odd that setting was ever there...
For the clueless: this could be used to detect jailbroken PS3s, even if you update after using a jailbreak the registry key would persist, which wouldn't even exist on an unmodified machine.
Maybe some smart dev can figure out how to disable this setting being created?
