btw, when you mentioned that sony had swapped out the nand chip in order to prevent a ylod home fix (in your previous post), which console version did sony start doing this with?

i'm just curious because i have a CECHK01 model number (80GB). thanks

Ummm.....create your own topic about nand swapping on your own thread....this is RSOD issues here...not nand or ylod syndromes here.

I'll allow it since it does have a direct correspondance with the RSOD and the YLOD. Further explanation on this could lead to a solution to your issue.
