Newegg.com - Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD7500BPVT 750GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive -Bare Drive
thanks dust I am in the market myself I think I will purchase that one looks like it will fit just fine
Owner of a 750GB WD Scorpio Blue and till now I didn't have any problems with it. Even after playing over 3 hours without turning off.
The only issue I read is that it would stutter in Heavy Rain and inFamous. But I can't test this because I don't have any of these games.
Could always sacrifice size for faster speeds if ya have the cash
OCZ Vertex Series 250GB SATA II 2.5 inch Solid State Drive: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
i wouldn't buy a Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD7500BPVT or any WD that has BPVT in the name. no one has gotten them to work 100% cuz they dont like to fall back to sata 1 from sata 2.
i would suggest Samsung M7 640GB as you can set that to sata1 manually and i have one myself and works great. no stutters.
im running a WD Scorpio Black.. 500GB, 7200RPM, 16MB cache, and its way faster than the old stock 80gb hitachi that came with the ps3...
i have no problems with my WD, but again, mine is the black version, not a power saving blue/green model.
