on rebug 4.30.1 and cant get hot shots golf update (adds 3D and move support)

multiman and aldos update app say no update found for hot shots golf: OoB.

I know there are several updates available so not sure why they cant find any updates for this game. So now I'm not sure how to get this update besides trying to connect to psn (not even sure if thats still possible and heard you could get banned)

so anyone know how I can get this update? really need to play hot shots in 3D!! lol

tried that shady app and of course it says "no update info available" when I search for BCUS98115.

it lists BCUS98114 (gran turismo 5) but not BCUS98115 (hot shots golf)

The updates for this game don't seem to have 'GOD' links, they are applied from within the game.

Do the following:
Boot the game. Now from the Main Menu of the game, select 'Online' (It will not ask you to log in to PSN). The game will now auto update. It will take a while as there are multiple updates (935 segments in the first update alone). When update has completed it will say 'installing' then ask you to exit the game via the PS button. Do so. If you look in 'Game Data', you will see you are on v1.06. Boot the game again, you will notice on the main screen it says Ver.08111301. Select 'Online' again and the next update will begin. This time there are 669 segments. When it has finished it will say 'installing' then 'checking version' and start installing the next update which has 364 segments. This process will repeat until all updates have been installed. Each time it moves to the next update you will notice the segments getting fewer and fewer. When it has finished it will tell you that the game is up to date and to exit and reload the game. If you look in 'Game Data', you will see you are on v1.13. Boot the game again, you will notice on the main screen it says Ver.12020101 and the option to play with the Move controller (Active Golf).

oh wow thanks it works! never thought to try the online option from in game menu. Figured it would ask me to sign into psn and just take me to a lobby if I clicked that.
