Rapala Fishing w/ Move Error

For some reason the controls are all messed up, the move button is functioning as the X button and the X button works as normal. Can't accelerate my boat or play properly, what the hell?

I have tried Patched mode but I get the EBOOT error because I ftp'd it over instead of copying in the manager.

Anyone else suffering from this?
