qustion about 3.42 to 3.50

i have a ps3 with 3.42 firmware i am waitting for a hack for it but i am wondering if there will be a hack for 3.42 or will they go stright for 3.50 so i am wondering should ill update that in the mean while ill ba able to play online or to stay with 3.42 beacuse there will be a higher propabillty that this firmware will be hacked

Don't hold your breath for either. Word around the net is the hole was closed in 3.42 and will not be able to be reoppened. The only thing you can hope for staying on 3.41 (all the JB'ers out there), is that there will be a firmware check bypass that will allow 3.41 to get back online again. If you've already updated to 3.42 or 3.50, count yourself screwed at this point.
