Quick question on ps3 move usage

Hey guys, i wanna know if any system wud update itself if we connect a move controller ?

Present firmware : 3.42

I dont wanna update beyond that . i have stil lnot opened my move controller got as a b day gift. If it needs any firmware beyond 3.42 iam selling it off..

I have the ps3 move and use it on my 3.41 machine without any issue.

it really depends on the game you want to play. start the party and the sports champions games work for me without any kind of updates.

At the moment, none of the Move games avaliable have any kind of forced update.. If they did, they'd probably still be 3.42, which wouldnt affect you obviously.

Move drivers shipped with 3.40 firmware, so you are all good.

The game "The Shoot" came out today it's 1gig in size and only requires 3.41 firmware, but goes to a blackscreen after the move warning screens. Its one of the first move games to not work. thought i suspect it may be the same problem as call of duty.

I have not had success with my USA version backed up from original. However i have heard there is a EUR version available that works.
