Quick Question About PS3MFW Builder v0.2

i always make my own cfw with ps3mfw builder v0.2 and i just wanted to know for sure what the compatibility is for it which ps3 models can i install my 3.55 cfw i created on because i know some of the old cfw bricked some ps3's is that not true anymore with the newer cfw

bricks happened with other CFW's.

mfw is safe to use on any currently available ps3 with fw <=3.55. if you mess up with the options, you can always reinstall from recovery menu.

exellent so my cousin who i think has a CECHC with 3.41 on it can install my 3.55 cfw i made

yeah i always keep a copy of that and i always install ofw 3.55 then my cfw but thanks also if there is a picture or list of all the ps3's that dont work i would be grateful

As far as i know none of the PS3's that have used MFW builder v0.2 have not bricked whatsoever. I have even used it and it worked flawlessly. However, those bricks that were happening were due to Waninkok's CFW so be careful do not use that particular CFw or you may have a chance of getting a brick.

Here is a list i found on Youtube pertaining to Waninkoko's CFW brick list, let me remind you that CFW had massive bricks when it first came out so be careful

Yes PS3MFW is safe for all on the list above, as I'm an avid PS3MFW user and change my FW 3-5 times every other day (testing NFW) and I have CECHA01 (top of the list) also have a Waninkoko brick of the same model.

As bitsbubba said, MFW is completely safe to use. Just don't tamper with options you aren't aware of like manually changing files that are required by the PS3. That would likely cause a brick of your system if you are not careful with them.

for example manually changing vsh.self with REBUG's (degug) vsh.self will cause RSOP (not that I've tried it, shhh!!!)
