So when you press Power on > Eject buttons (to enable jb) your disc is ejected AND the console starts successfully in jb mode?
Drive does not have to be empty, when you press power then eject, it will eject the disc and your JB will be done. Then just push the disc back in. And no Heavy Rain still doesn't work without a disc even with 1.16 and Hermes v3, unless there is some other version 1.16 I don't know about.
I do have a question tho not directed at the above poster, How, if you have no BD drive, are you legally backing up your games?

    Yep,
Make sure you butter the non reflective side of your CD's / DVD's and Blu-Rays so that when you drop them, they land butter side down thus preventing scratches.

Ok, haven't the situation changed by chance now when new payloads are released?

The same question goes about GoW3 too.

    Yes.

Well, I assume the situation hasn't changed, thanks

PS: I don't like to eject/insert a disc every day, and it's not exactly good for the drive either.
Plus, I often can't enable the jb mode on the first attempt, so I have to fully put the disc out, turn off the console, reset the power cord, turn on the console again, and then put the disc back in.

why is it that is so hard for people to put a disc in?

maybe its either they have a broken bluray drive or just to cheap to buy even a single second hand game.

I stated my reasons in the previous post. I don't like it.

And I do have the Heavy Rain (Special Edition).
