just need a quick answer to this please ?
just got a new ps jailbreak out of the box plugged it into my ps3 did the eject thingy and no matter what i do i just get both green and red lights on constantly.
also does the same plugged into my pc. can any one tell me am i doing something wrong or is the dongle faulty ?

you didnt mention removing the power cable so....
you must remove the power cable from the socket for a few seconds, plug it back it, and then do the power and eject combo...
other than that i cant help you
EDIT: also make sure no other usb devices are connected to your ps3 until it has fully loaded
IS your ps3 firmware on 3.41?
no its on 3.50 which i know cant work but just wanted to make sure it wasnt faulty as i have read elsewhere that both lights staying on was a faulty dongle ?
i think may it is the problem about your dongle.
