Hi y'all,

I have been out of the PS3 jailbreak scene for a while and I have a few questions on updating from a True Blue fw to the new CFWs.

1. Which firmware would you recommend for the causal gamer that likes to use emulators?
2. What process would you recommend on updating to the new CFW?
3. Has NTFS been enabled yet through USB?
4. When I was using showtime, it couldnt really play 1080P MKVs well. Has Showtime improved?

Any CFW will work. Take your pick.

2. What process would you recommend on updating to the new CFW?

1. return to official 3.55 firmware
2. install kmeaw 3.55 or rebug 3.55
3. Once on CFW 3.55 install/enable QA Flag
4. Take your pick. Stay with Kmeaw 3.55 or go with Rebug or Rogero.

3. Has NTFS been enabled yet through USB?

With the latest multiMAN 04.18+ you can use NTFS USB drive only to copy files not to play backups from it.

4. When I was using showtime, it couldnt really play 1080P MKVs well. Has Showtime improved?

It's a hit and miss. Really depends the way the MKV was created. 720p MKVs works best.

Thanks Jay. I ended up installing rebug 4.3. Is there really way to be safe using Internet/network access for updating multiman and some games? I removed my psn passwords so I couldn't log in but I still see deals for a discount on games and etc. should I be concerned?

Another questions, can you fix tb eboots for games through multiman?

Also, one more questions, are there any settings in rebug and multiman that I should enable? There are so many settings that I have no idea what it can do... Sorry about the trouble.
