Has anyone got the downgrading right on the first try itself ? I bet nobody.. i have been trying to downgrade a single ps3 system for 3 f***ing days and i have no success.. Either the lights give me a fancy glitter or i get a bios read error or i get an error saying cannot operate bios while operating nor.....I have tried to backup bios after system comes to main menu.. still same thing.,i am doing a slim ps3 250gb from 3.73
Ps3 40gb->3.55Kmeaw->3TB External USB->Multiman1.17/Ps3 320gb->4.00Fw-> Only for PSN Online Play
Psp3004->6.60Pro-B8->8gb Produo2/Nintendo Wii->4.1U->Usb Gx loader2.3->320Gb Usb Hdd

It worked for me from the third time...the most important thing is to verify your dump before anything. If anything happens afterward it can be fixed. I later on bricked my console from bad flash but I manged to recover it by soldering the SBE wire to the tristate pad.

dude i dont even get to the point of backing up bios... i get bios read failure huh

Yes, it happening with everyone. What I come to understand that even if you get a very nice "snap" sound when you put the clip, it might still be not placed correctly. Keep trying and make sure to tape the clip so it will still be securely fixed when you assemble the board back again.
