    Hello everyone,

I have some questions about going to rogero 4.3 v2.
I have multiman 04.13.00 installed and it is saying that my console is now on Firmware 3.55 (SC-36 | Hermes).
It is a FAT model and have never updated it more than 3.55

I know i have to enable QA before doing anything.
Do I First have to go to Rogero 3.55 before updating to Rogero 4.3 V2 or can i do it directly from my version?
Do I have to rechange all my eboots to the original ones or will my games still work with the custimized eboots?
My games are on 2 external HDD of 500 Gb's each, can it read it from the 2 hard drives at the same time?
If I don't like it, can I still return to 3.55 kmeaw like it never happened?

I don't care if i can play online or not.
I want to do this because it seems easier to play the newest games.

    Thx in advance !
May the Scene be with you !

Rogero himself says that the proper and safe way is to do it like this:
    3.55 CFW ---> 3.55 OFW ---> 4.30 CFW
These should be done, preferably, via Recovery mode.

I think your current multiMAN supports 4.30 versions because it is resigned for it. Even if it doesn't you can always download another one for 4.30 CFW.

I didn't enable QA Flag or anything while updating my console (guess I was over confident ). All my eboot fixed games work on the new version without any hassle. Yes, multiMAN can read two HDDs at the same time and you can load a game from either.

And you can downgrade to 3.55 kmeaw using the downgraders at any time, but I doubt you would want that. Its much easier to play games now. No waiting for fixes and etc... Its working flawlessly for me.

    Well ...

I thought it was working but fore some reason when I run games from hdd nr 1 without hdd nr 2 being inserted they work.
But from the moment that I insert hdd nr 2 the games won't work anymore.
The games are showned fine in multiman but when I start them from XMB I first have a black screen and then it automaticly returns to XMB.

Weird, it seems it doesn't work with 2 hdd's after all

Yes i did try select + x and it doesn't work.

    But i discovered something.
I have 2 HDD's one with usb 2.0 and one with usb 3.0
I will call the one with usb 2.0 "HDD1" and the one with usb 3.0 "HDD2"

When I start my ps3 with both HDD's inserted and I start a game from HDD1 it works.
When I close the game and start a game from HDD2 it also works. But ..
When I try to start a game from HDD1 again after that it will not start, I can choose the game and multiman will load it correctly but when I start it from XMB I first get a black screen and then a return to XMB.
When I try to start a game from HDD2 after the failure of HDD1 it will start a game and it will work!

I tried it otherwise to see if it depends on the HDD that I first start but it is always my HDD1 that will not work after starting a game from HDD2.

this is really anoying and I think I will go back to kmeaw if I don't find a solution to this problem.
Am i the only one getting this problem?

Well dude, you got a weird problem. I had once connected my 1tb hdd and my friend's 2tb hdd together, and multiman read it perfectly. Thing is I didnt try and run games. I just copied games off one on to the other.

Personally that wouldnt be a big problem for me. I would just letter the HDDs, like HDD1 for games A-M and HDD2 for games M-Z. multiman will be less bulky too.

but you can always downgrade if you dont like the new CFW. Personally I love it because I can run latest disc games with out having to copy them and apply a fix.

Here is my tip if you are planning for a downgrade: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!!

P.S: if its possible, report the problem to Deank.
