I have 2 HDD's one with usb 2.0 and one with usb 3.0
I will call the one with usb 2.0 "HDD1" and the one with usb 3.0 "HDD2"
When I start my ps3 with both HDD's inserted and I start a game from HDD1 it works.
When I close the game and start a game from HDD2 it also works. But ..
When I try to start a game from HDD1 again after that it will not start, I can choose the game and multiman will load it correctly but when I start it from XMB I first get a black screen and then a return to XMB.
When I try to start a game from HDD2 after the failure of HDD1 it will start a game and it will work!
I tried it otherwise to see if it depends on the HDD that I first start but it is always my HDD1 that will not work after starting a game from HDD2.
this is really anoying and I think I will go back to kmeaw if I don't find a solution to this problem.
Am i the only one getting this problem?
Well dude, you got a weird problem. I had once connected my 1tb hdd and my friend's 2tb hdd together, and multiman read it perfectly. Thing is I didnt try and run games. I just copied games off one on to the other.
Personally that wouldnt be a big problem for me. I would just letter the HDDs, like HDD1 for games A-M and HDD2 for games M-Z. multiman will be less bulky too.
but you can always downgrade if you dont like the new CFW. Personally I love it because I can run latest disc games with out having to copy them and apply a fix.
Here is my tip if you are planning for a downgrade: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!!
P.S: if its possible, report the problem to Deank.
