Questions about Jailbreaking
Questions about Jailbreaking –

Hey, i'm new to jailbreaking.. and i really need some answers.
Firstly i wanted to know if i installed a jailbreak like x3max and had backup games on my ps3, if i play a game online that i actually have the cd of, can they still get me and ban me? or do i have to be playing a backup game for them to get me?
Secondly, is there any sort of patch i can install that stops sony from accessing weather i have jailbreak on my ps3?
Thirdly, once i have installed an x3max or jailbreak, is it easy to uninstall? Also, if i uninstall it does my ps3 go back to normal as if nothing had ever happened. So Sony would never be able to see if i had it installed.
Fourth, has anyone actually been bricked yet? Is there any prevention method?
Would be great if you guys could answer these questions, as i am still noob at this.
Thank you.

Wow, I linked you to tutorials in the last thread I locked. Next time you open a useless thread, you're getting an infraction. Thread closed.
Edit: Ok, because I feel a little bad about this (and I really shouldn't considering all your answers are in the thread I linked you before), and it's my b-day, I'm going to give you a quick rundown of your answers now that I'm at a computer and not on my cell phone.
1a. Don't use dongles anymore. They're pointless. Not to say you shouldn't keep it to turn it into a service mode jig, but you don't need it for JB anymore. If you want to stay on 3.41, go with Hermes CFW. If you want to go to 3.55, install kmeaw's CFW. Instructions for both are in the tutorial I linked you in your other thread.
1b. The only way you can play online currently is with the proxy tool or the DNS trick. More then likely both of these will be closed within the next couple of days. After that, the only way you can play online is to upgrade to 3.56. If you upgrade, you'll never be able to JB your PS3 ever again.
2. It's called you router. You block all access to servers with playstation in the name. If you can't do that, you can also get a OpenDNS account or just disable i-net off your PS3
3. If you go the CFW method, all you have to do is install OFW via recovery mode. If you go with dongles, just don't boot up with the dongle and you're in normal mode. Nothing to really erase/delete
4. Only way you'll get bricked is if you go into service mode on 3.56, or you install Waninkoko's v1 CFW on a console with 256mb of NAND.
All of these questions were answered within the first 3 posts of that tutorial thread I linked you (I just double checked). So, next time I tell you to search somewhere for your answers, you should probably listen. The reason I have such a high post count and I'm a mod is because I help people like you day in and day out. I know where this info is located. I also can tell when you say you've looked but you haven't. That's called wanting a hand-out, and if you haven't noticed, no one around here will just give you the info. The reason for that is, if you don't know what you're fully doing, you will brick your console. There are plenty of users on here that have done it and come crying back asking how to fix it. The answer you will generally receive is, tough shit, ya should have read more. So, before you get started on anything, read over those tutorials I linked you and then ask your further questions in that thread if you still don't understand something.
