Question about remarrying the blu ray drive back to ps3 after downgrading.
Question about remarrying the blu ray drive back to ps3 after downgrading. –

I had a 3.41 downgraded console using a dongle, i've finally fixed the issue to where I could update to 3.55 and be JB dongle free, but I had to downgrade to do it, and I broke my blu ray playback again. I know I know stupid ass why didnt you backup your files well I knew it was going to happen and I was just going to use the tools i had used in the past to fix it again but they are broken. so i was told to remarry the drive and play a blu ray to restore the drl files.
I downloaded the remarry 3.55 tools but it says u need a console on a working 3.55 firmware, which i do but its the Rogero version. Does it need to be official for the tool to work because when I run it I keep getting the huge punk NG across the screen saying it doesnt work. I have an original 20gb phat system and one file said I needed 3.30 or lower and another said I needed 2.15 so I tried both and neither work.
Thanks for the help!

I should also note that the Drive INIT Passes and the 2nd part errors.

Try installing Kmeaw and running the process again. Rogero CFW is spoofed, perhaps that is causing you a problem. Plus it has other features that may or may not affect the process.

I installed 3.55 kmeaw like you said, and tried the process again same error. Drive INIT passes, but the 2nd step fails.

try "Restore Filesystem" in the "Recovery Menu" and see if that helps
