Question about Rebug

First of all, i have been gone from ps3 and all that stuff for a while, i played last time just as 4.0 came out.
So i am pretty sure i am unaware of what have changed and whatnot, but that is not the point.

But to my question: My brother updated my ps to 4.25 a while ago, and i want to jailbreak it. I have not found any threads about it, except those that have already been jailbroken and willing to update it to 4.31. So is it possible that i install the rebug's cfw to my ps? And i am sorry if there is already a thread that says this, but atleast i did not find it.

And just to mention, english is not my first language, so there might be a few typo's. And i'd like to keep all the flaming away, so if you don't have anything good to say, don't say at all :3

You need to downgrade to 3.55 with a hardware flasher. CFW can not be installed on a PS3 with firmware above 3.55.
