Question about qa –
12-19-2012,01:53 PM
I installed rogero 4.30 v1.09 but I didnt install, and consequently didnt enable, the qa flag, but everything went well. Should I repeat the process, to downgrade and enable qa, and then re-update? I am asking so as not to have problems if I want to install a newer cfw in the future. In case I need to downgrade I guess I will not need to dehash as it is not a true downgrading, right? Maybe the fact that I made it without a brick means that I dont need to concern myself with this qa thing anymore?

there is no reason not to enable qa flag. just do it via toggle_qa.pkg
you will however need to downgrade to 3.55 cfw do it. i recommend doing it. i wouldnt say that you must do it, but i recommend it

I am a bit afraid of too many updates/downgrades in case of a possible brick though... I should have done it before updating, no I am not so sure...

Don't worry about QA, you'll be fine without it. it's mainly for Rebug CFW's.
if your afraid of brick, make a backup of your NAND/NOR using Multiman just in case.
