question about infectus for 3.6x

not to bother u .. i read alot in this forum and on the web about 3.6x firmware and that there is no CFW for it yet or downgrader or anything

but some ppl reply saying .... " only way to downgrade is infectus "

i dont get it ... what is infectus and how it works

and some ppl say tenas++ (notsure about spelling) for nand ,, and infectus for fat/slim

this question will make me look dull but i really dont know what is my ps3 type is :/
but here is the pic of my ps3 firmware 3.61

and i dont know what type of downgrader suits my ps3

so i should use teensy++

if u plz explain if i can downgrade from 3.61 to 3.55 ... and if it is possible what do i need to do/buy

buddy you got the wrong picture up then. You have a NOR model - a slim. You gotta use a Teensy or progskeet but even Teensy's don't write yet. The farthest they've gotten it was reading.

so can u explain what is teensy

is it a usb stick that i need to buy and then load the downgrade to it from pc and then put it in the ps3 and it will alter the firmware to an old firmware like 3.55 to be able to play copied games ?!

if iam wrong correct me plz because iam a newbie :/

No, it is a chip you need to solder into the ps3. You will also need to either write some complicated code for it, or wait for someone else to, because currently you cannot write to the nor with it.

seems infectus is the only way to succefully downgrade from this shitty firmware
