QA flag working on REBUG 4.21.1
QA flag working on REBUG 4.21.1 –

Hello all just installed the new rebug 4.21.1. I was messing around with it and found out if I go to the rebug tool box and make the system mode "REBUG" the XMB operation Mode "Retail" and the debug menu "CEX QA" then reboot I can turn on the system and go to network settings do the button combo and the QA Debug menu will work. I don't know why this is on rebugs site they said QA flag will not work on 4.21.1.

That's what I read too. Odd.
I have a similar question. I'm on Rebug 3.55, and I want to move on tore bug 4.21. I've intsalled and run QA toggle. Now I can't seem to verify that QA is on. When I go to 'network Settings' and do the button combo, nothing happens. The menu just moves down to the 'Debug Settings' menu item. Sorry about kind of jacking the thread, but can you help?

1) Go into the Debug Settings Icon and then find System Update Debug option press triangle to open side menu now turn on "System Update Debug"
2) In a multiMAN file manager create a folder called updater on the root of hdd0 in the updater folder make folders named 01, 02, 03 however many you need for the update pup's now inside of the numbered folders place one of your OFW or CFW pup's and you may name rename the pup's to whatever you desire such as Kmeaw, Rebug and so. (hdd0\update\01\PS3UPDAT.PUP-- Note- you can now rename the Pup).
3) Once step 2 is complete return to the XMB navigate to Settings column then open System Update and now there is an option to update via hard drive. Open that, and you should see your firmwares you transfered to the "updater" folder in Step 2. If you renamed the PUPs, they should show the name of each one and etc. (see image below). That will mean you are all set up.
PS3: Slim 320GB / CFW KMEAW 3.55 / multiMAN v04.xx.xx / blackb0x FTP Server v1.2 3.55 w/ FlashFXP 4.2.x
PS2: SLIM & PHAT / FreeMcBOOT w/ESR & OPL 9-r651 / SMS w/PSClient v1.3.1
PSP: PHAT / 5.00 M33-6
