PSN titles from external - possible?

Yes, I know another thread exists (can't link to it unfortunately) I have followed it to the letter but am still experiencing the problem below:

I too am trying to get this working on my sons PS3, but no joy so far. Copying the psn title to external is easy enough but it still shows up as corrput data on XMB. Can anyone elaborate on these instructions or provide a more comprehensive tutorial?

Just so you know I have edited the SFB file to suit, I can see the game in MM no problem but once I launch it I just get a corrupt data icon in XMB

Its probably something really stupid I am missing, so any help would be appreciated.

Everything is possible ! You just need the guy who will spend enought time to code this...

As far as I am aware it does not need any 'coding' its just a simple matter of copying the data across and editing the SFB file, I would link to the original thread (onthis website) but for some ridiculous reason I am unable to.
