is the psn down for technical issues or for the psjailbreak?

well i was just reading on the PS official forum and someone said that he has a buddy at PS helpdesk and he's claiming that the downtime is to block/fix the psjailbreak issue.

What are they blocking a non existant yet unreleased ps3 jig??

I don't believe its because of that, the psjailbreak its not even spread arround and they are trying to block what??

it must be routine maintenance.

The device has been out to some people for some time now, how else do you think people are cloning them?
They have already been online also as a video i saw shows someone online using it, so even though it isn't widespread there are still people who have it (such as retailers) so Sony could still def block it even before it releases to the whole public
