they seems to give some more news about the future update that will support 3.42 & 3.50:

If it is true, what this website claims, this would be a huge thing!!!!

Their news has nothing (at least not directly) to do with the update, they just tell their buyers, that sony lunches hidden updates on your ps3, even if you or just connected to the internet (without psn connection).
So they adivse you to plug off your ps3 from the internet, if you want to use PSJB in the future
