PsFreedom Sixaxis/Dualshock 3 Port

A few weeks back when PSFreedom ports were first being announced, it was mentioned on various PS3 hacking sites that there was a Sixaxis/Dualshock 3 port being worked on. Obviously this would be the best solution, as every PS3 owner has one.

Strangely enough though, I haven't heard anything about this port ever since. Does anyone know if this project exists/ever existed or was it just a scam?

Also, are there any other phones/game systems that are being worked on at the moment? I'm kind of leery about USB key retailers, and I'm not keen on buying a $150 calculator or $250 iPod or smartphone just to jailbreak my ps3. I might have bought a Dingoo, but my PSP does everything it does and more.

Will there an easy option for gamers with limited budgets like myself, or should I just bite the bullet and order a USB key?

well you can order Tennesy board which can be upgraded/updated via usb and its the cheapest board i think .

Teensies are backordered until November, unfortunately. I'll probably buy one then if nothing better is out.

In the meantime, anyone know anything about the Sixaxis/Dualshock 3 port?

Teensy 2.0 backorders ship on the Monday I think.

yep i ordered mine yesterday, and she said should have enough stock to fulfill my order. They will receive shipment around 27th so lets hope I get one!!

I also heard something about a possible port to sixaxxis but nobody followed up on it

If your living in the benelux than I'd have a good source for you. I ordered my avr-usb-162 board on friday and got it on tuesday so that was pretty awesome.

In order to use the PS3 dualshock/sixaxis for the hack, you take away it's ability to operate as a controller, hence the lack of work gone into it.

buy from ps2chiper... can buy a board for $21 and flashable with psgroove ^^

A lot of people still have their junk SIXAXIS controllers from the original set of systems that were released. The demand for it, I think, would make developing this worth the trouble.
