PSDowngrade question

I have 2 PS3 ,3.41 and 3.50
I want to downgrade my second PS3 also.This time i am using amazebreak dongle. I am thinking to buy an original ps jailbreak + ps downgrade =125$.
I want to know that is it real deal???is there anything that i should know apart from this deal like once the console will be downgraded then can we use any dongle in that or only original jail break will work in that??? coz i heard that we have to put some modified 3.41 firmware .or we can use any dongle in that console .I am planing to downgrade my friend's PS3 also(2 of them).

PSDowngrade works 100%. The thing is, you can only use it ONCE, and after that the file you used will become useless. It is only a matter of time before a free alternative is released, but if you cannot wait, you can purchase it.

I would definitely wait another week as there are meant to be clones coming out and possibly a free method too.

Yep, so that's why my recommendation is you wait until a free, or cheaper alternative comes along. The PSJB team are supposed to make an announcement soon "that will make customers happy" but who knows?

As you mentioned, it costs $125 just for the dongle and lets not forget that, that price itself is about 4-5 times the price of a reasonable alternative. If it was $40 for a permanent downgrading solution, the PSJailbreak team would've done reasonably well, but I really really fail to understand why their management/planning team is soooo stupid by making it a one time use only - it's as if they purposely want to lose business lol. Anyway, as others have already said, just wait for a bit and hopefully you'll find some free alternatives.
