1 insert downgrade, but with this fw, wait for shutdown (same downgrade method)
2 Insert usbflash with 3.15 fw here with 1st self wait for shutdown
3 insert usbflash with 2nd self wait for shutdown
4 enjoy 3.15, if you want can update to 3.41 from xmb

Hi! sorry for my bad english;( this is how i fix that brick becouse i did the same thing you did i try'd to update from service mode and after restart i got the same screen as you.This is what i did, take usb memory stick and put the second file from downgrade folder one you used to restore console from service mode Lv2diag.self FILE 2.Turn off your console and put in usb with Lv2diag.self FILE 2 in root and turn ps3 on and wait for ps3 to turn off then start upp ps3 again, your firmware update will comlete after that that is what i did to make it work.I hoped this will help

Instead of being an absolute **** Ill try to give you a hand. Try the post here. (RSOD When Updating Please Help!!!) Someone else verified that it worked. If this works for you maybe we need to sticky this little tutorial.
