I my ps3 slim brick

Ps3 slim with 3.41 factory mode i try update to 3.50 and give me error and red screen

pen drive with downgrade files need formated fat32??

What do I do to take back the XMB?

I tried to change the hdd but then the ps3 will not start.

help me

i think you should try to go to the service mode :/ and then restore ps3 i think

Why didn't you upgrade to 3.50 in retail mode?Why using factory service mode when it's only meant for downgrading?
I'm just trying to understand why you did what you did..

Ok your problem is you tried to update when you were in factory mode! You
HAVE to go back into retail mode before you try to update! lol

As said above - you probably tried to update while jailbroken and/or factory mode - hence the brickage.

For future use: Remove jailbreak dongle, switch into full retail mode, even FORMAT if you're that scared and THEN update :P
