ps3key and Mac OSX?

Is probably the only one on earth who have Mac OSX and try to ps3 jailbreak.
Have been looking and looking for several weeks but found nothing!

I bought a ps3 two weeks ago, when much good games coming this fall.
Directly when I came home, ill ordered a ps3key.

My little stick came in the mail two days later. (Silabs).
Can not update the files in the ps3key when it says that the disk is full.
Can´t delete the files or replace them with the new ones.
I mean my ps3key and not ps3.

F*ck It! Tried to put my ps3key in my ps3, then have fw 3:41. Never used it.
Once it starts it shines blue. Never turns red and THEN turns blue. Only blue. Tested in both USB ports and done exactly that to do with power and ejector.

What could be wrong? Someone who running Mac OSX and can help me?

Sorry to say, you probably wasted your money on the USB dongle. I would suggest installing kameaw custom firmware. It 'jailbreaks' your PS3 automatically and is free. The only thing you need is a USB thumb drive.

@3picFail, you haven't provided enough info for anyone to help you mate..

Firstly, what fw is your PS3? If it's 3.56+ you're out of luck unfortunately, for now anyways...

Yes, there are downgrades but I think you need a dump of your 3.55 or less NAND or NOR and (again, currently), you need further kit and be good at soldering.

If you're on 3.55 you would need to downgrade to 3.41 and if you're on 3.41 the stick should work.

As far as you having a mac.. yes, many programs are windows based. To get around this you can either install bootcamp on your mac or VM Fusion or Parallels.

For simple one off programs you can even install Wine via Wine Bottler - which is a free download and pretty handy but you have to check which programs will work or not.

My ps3key have the same verion as when I got it (1.0) I think. PS3Key v4.5 Firmware available for download.
Find it strange that the key does not work.
As I said never turns red but turns blue immediately.
To install Windows, I will not do. I hate windows

On my ps3 I have fw 3:41. Never upgraded.

Have also read somewhere that the "trick" the console into thinking you are running fw 3.70?
So i can play "newer" games.
... i goes crazy soon!! .. it is a jungle with different fw and various updates.
All I want is to play games on my dear console!

Can somebody just help me with some link where I can download a good fw?
Nothing strange. Something I can do with a standard USB stick. Formatted til Fat32
