Ps3jaibroken+iopenboot+BUM= nothing works

Hey guys I am having some difficulties and am
beyond fustrated. My ps3 is jailbroken and I used iopenboot for the iPhone to
install the jailbreak. I then installed backup manager off of a memory stick and the ps3ftp program. I have two games on a portable hard drive (infamous & mafia 2) neither game will load up on backupmanager and there is also a disc in the drive . I then ftp'd mafia onto the internal drive and it wouldn't work with that method either. I then deleted mafia and transfered infamous to the internal drive and again It wouldn't work either . I'm fustrated as all hell and am confused on why nothing works at all. The games show up in backupmanager but won't load. Does backupmanager work with the iPhone Jailbreak ?? Or what can be the problem?

When I press the X button it goes back to the xmb(dashboard?).The game doesn't load. What could the problem be?

Yes it goes back to the dashboard (xmb) and where you normally select to play the game inside your disc, it should be replaced with the game you selected in backup manager.

The problem is that the game that shows up is not the game that I selected(mafia or infamous )It's the game in the actual drive that shows up.(NFL
tour is in the cd tray). So does that mean the game didn't load then?

Sounds like you don't have the patched psgroove/freedom port then (The originals didn't support backup manager)

Where can I get the patched version from? The one that's patched for backup manger and works on iPhone .

when you press X in backup manager it always takes you back to XMB...

you then go up 2 or 3 icons to the apps_home/PS3_GAME then press X on that... game will load.... (if its compatible)
