Is it a wireless or wired connection. If its wireless goto wired its much faster and more stable
It's wired, and it starts out working perfectly, but when it starts on the large file (I'm transfering GRID) it stops the transfer. I don't get it, I've transfered files before without a problem.
Give FlashFXP a try
I'm using mac osx, I tried transmit but it wouldn't connect.
Here's a list of more clients you can try: Best Free MAC FTP Client to connect FTP Server
Thanks, but I wonder why filezilla just loses it's connection for no reason.
I run a Filezilla FTP Server and I make my friends that want access to it use the Filezilla FTP Client (as I don't want to have to learn every client out there to teach them how to configure it). Anyway, I've noticed that the Filezilla Client sucks! I've got one friend that can only stay connected for about 200mb or so at a time, and then it reconnects him. Sure, his transfer appends and continues going, but I hate waking up in the morning to a log that's 20 pages long of him reconnecting. So, just my .02 on the Filezilla Client software.
I also have issues with FileZilla too. It disconnects but then it can't reconnect. I can still exit to the XMB and relaunch Gaia Manager.
I had this problem to when I first started using the FTP. In Filezilla I had to make sure that it would only transfer 1 file at a time. If it tried to do more than one it would just hang and I would need to disconnect.
