    Hi

Just upgrade my ps3break v1.1 from whatever version it was to a hermes v4 along with running obm v1.61 and tried obm v1.71

At first i accidently flashed the v1.1 with the v1.2 hex file, realised what i had done then went back re-installed software to update and re-flashed the v1.1 to it's right firmware through the official ps3break website.

When i use the ps3break along with either obm v1.61 or v1.71 it selects games fine but it's when its loading up or installing game data to hard drive theres a constant line running all the left hand side of the TV maybe about 2cm width, looks like a glitch in the video as the games run perfectly but theres pixels on the screen and looks corrupted or something. Any ideas???

I've tried re-flashing stick and trying different obm but nothing to get rid of this crap on the screen. Would appreciate anyones wisdom into this, thanks in advance.

also tried the ps3 without the ps3break with metal gear solid 4 and it loads up fine so my guess is its an issue with the ps3break not the ps3 hardware

Never heard of that problem before, but the ps3break pc application has a reset device button... Maybe it will fix it

I think you should get your ps3break and just break it
    PS3 Phat with 500GB
    1 TB External
    AVRKEY (ATMEGA32U2) - 32KB Onboard Flash Memory

    Future List -
    - PS3 Move Set

Thank you Geohot and fail0verfl0w for fully hacking the PS3.

Yes it is a wierd one, what about this then for even more wierdness.

I have another ps3 break v1.1 which has not been touched in terms of upgrading the patch and i thought if i swap them around it should work fine again.

Uh oh - no way it does the same thing
    Couldn't believe it

You name it ive tried it so far, ive tried backing up original on internal hard drive using ps3break , no go

tried using the non upgraded ps3break on another ps3 with 3.41 & it has same problem even when playing games internally and externally

tried switching over hdmi leads, hdmi ports

tried the first obm, then obm v1.61, v1.71 nothing, lol. If anyone has anything else they can suggest go ahead but this is a complete and utter wierd thing to happen especially when the other ps3break has not been upgrade on a different ps3.

the only thing left to do is try both on another tv with hdmi to see if my hdmi is screwed up but then again my virgin box is fine, lol ARRRGHHHH F*$K

    Hi again

Ive tried both ps3 and both ps3breaks v1.1 with open manager v.171 now this morning and they are working, im starting to think it was my TV now. Sorry about this guys but it just seemed funny how after i updated the stick it started to go haywire. I've just reset the stick back to its original state, i think ill keep it like that for now,lol
