    Hey everyone!

Okay I just got my PS3Break USB and I have some questions about it. Whenever I shut down my PS3, do I always need to take the cord out of the PS3, put in the usb, put the power cord back in, press the power button, quickly press the eject button to get the USB working? If I don't my PS3 says it found a unknown device and Open Manager doesn't work? I thought you only had to do that proces just once and let the USB in the PS3.

Another question; I've just downloaded a game to test it out, after transfering it to my PS3 with help of Blackb0x's FTP, I wanted to start it up, but when I clicked the game it said it couldn't find the boot.bin, after this I went looking in the folder of the game and it didn't have the boot.bin in it. Can I just copy another boot.bin from another game and out it in the folder of the game I wanted to play? Or would this not work...

    Thanks in advanced!

    1) Yes, you need to follow the procedure you mentioned each time you boot the PS3 to enter JailBreak mode.

    2) Did you copy the game to dev_hdd0/game/omanXXXXX/gamez/? Are you trying to boot the game in Patched Mode?

If you are using Open Manager, booting the game in Patch Mode may give you the error you mentioned, you will need the FixPermissions PKG, I've attached it below. Install it, run it, then you can delete it from XMB. I had that problem before and this PKG fixed it for me. Please note the PKG I attached is ONLY for the OMAN folder, if you are using the LAUN folder grandfathered from Backup Manager you'll need to search and find the original FixPermissions PKG.

    Hope this helps, good luck.

    Thank you sir!

Weird thing is that now the eboot.bin is there... when yesterday it wasen't. I'm now transfering the game again, and if it doesn't work, I'll be using that file you just posted.

And I didn't know you have to do that everytime xD, but I can use the power on and off button instead of taking and putting the power cord in and out right?

I'm using Gaia Manager, and I'm getting the Eboot error when I try to boot a game from the HDD, I put the game into the BDrips folder, because Gaia manager doesn't have ANY of the folder forementioned, any ideas?

Also when I check the game folder the EBOOT.BIN is in the USRDIR Folder...

by playing games off the harddisk do u mean booting disc-less?
but anyways you will need a backup manager installed on the ps3 after u jb. you can ftp or u can put your games on a external usb formatted to fat32. Just make a folder on the root of the external called GAMEZ and put all the ps3 games on that so the backup manager can find them.
You can also copy the game from the external hdd to your ps3's internal using one of the backup managers

you should put all your games in the GAMEZ folder, well for gaia manager anyways. Try booting different games, You may have a gotten a bad rip from that game
