PS3Break - Cannot Get ANY game to load

Hello!

As the title says. Here's what I've done so far...

I just received my PS3Break, checked authenticity, installed 1.2 firmware, installed openmanager 2.01, FTPd a game into the corresponding directory on internal HDD, Openmanager sees the game corerctly, but when i start i can see the yellow LED blinking, so the HDD is working, after some time the screen goes stays black, and the HDD is also stops responding. Total freeze, with internal and external HDD. My firmware version shows 3.50 just as it should because of the spoof. Without PS3Break its 3.41. All seems ok, i can install homebrew, but i cannot start any games. I want to play downloaded games, so i definately dont have original disc for this game i want to play. Now i’m going to test with firmware 1.1 on PS3Break, but its really annoying nothing is working so far. Any idea what can be wrong?

BTW I try with Two Worlds which needs 3.50 (the spoof should do it) and Heavy Rain EUR.

I think it is best to update to the recent firmware so you can have less problems with the games. You should check out the rest of the forums as to how to make the games work. Two Worlds currently does not work but I know heavy rain does.

I think PS3Break is now on 1.7 i think got to check their website

My bad, firmware is 1.7 definately not 1.2. The device itself is PS3Break V1.2. So what I'm trying to say is that I *think* i am doing everything right, still its not responding.

How are you trying to launch your game? Directly?
What you should do, is put a PS3 disc in if you have one, and after you hit launch, let it take you back to the XMB, go to the disc, which will now say whatever game you loaded.
Or, you can go the the file above the install packages, and launch the game form there.

Tried with direct mode and I also tried with an original disc inserted, and starting the game after exiting to XMB from Openmanager, choosing the disc icon as you said. I'm kind of a tech person, these kinds of stuff never caused any problems, but i still cannot find the catch here. Now I'm downloading another game just to see where the problem might be. Two Worlds is unloadable OK, but as stated above, Hevay Rain should be running, but unfortunately no way.

Working with Gaia Manager 1.031 prefectly. All settings set to OFF. Anybody could explain to me what causes this? No other manager could start the games.

Yeah, I think it is because of the payload, also. If you have hermes, you have more options in the Gaia (more then, if you had the PL3). Possibly, the payload is launching whatever the manager tells it to; and, choosing how the file starts up, with or without a disc. Jest Nest Cest Pas What I do know is that when I use PL3, and use the OM 2.1i2, and go to the game folder, it shows up. It doesn't if I use the Gaia (PL3 eco no auth). Payload > Manager > Method of Launch?

Only game I've been able to get to play was LittleBigPlanet on my fw3.15 console, using TI-89 method, with PL3 and brandon's 315 fw compat file, and Open Manager 1.17.2. After the first level however, the game freezes... I guess that counts as working, though lol.

However, I cannot, no matter what I try, get nba2k11 working. Maybe I have a bad rip?

Also, Modnation Racers freezes on the logo/loading screen, after it installs the game. Waiting like 10-15 minutes gets me to that screen, where it just freezes.

Official one with PS3Break latest firmware. When i get more time i will dig into the payload thing so that i understand what happens why.

Heavy rain needs to be installed on your internal first before you copy it back over to your external. The reason being is it will not install the game data and will have a black screen if you do not do it this way.

I use a ps3break v1.1 with open manager 2.1i. I am using the psn spoof hermes payload. All of my games work as desired, however, there are some games I have yet to get working via jb mode and running from the hard drive.

The ps3break works awesome but you cannot expect it to run every single game......yet.

Also it would behoove you to check on game compatibility before assuming the ps3break does not work as it is supposed to.
