My PS3 turns on as soon as i flip the switch in the back. It turns green and stays on for a few seconds, beeps and blinks green again, beeps and then shuts down and stays red.
I've tried to get it in recovery mode but that don't work either.

Yeah, it had YLOD, I reflowed it and now this. I have done LOTS of reflows and never had this happen. If a power supply is bad, will I get any lights at all??

Thanks alot for your help. It was the data cable on the power switch. It had a cut in it.

Yeah, if you have a bad power supply it will give you the same symptoms as YLOD.I bought one from ebay (a power supply) and it fix my problem.

Yea it sounded like a stuck power button down. Was this a 60gb, 20gb or one of the 80gb backwards compatible models? Cause if so I guess you're lucky that the power/eject button is it's own little piece and not built into the motherboard like all of the rest of the revisions.
