Dear friends since i am new to the world of PS3 (just bought my self as X-Mass present a PS3)
I really would like to ask anyone who might know....
The system has Firmware v3.72. Can i Jailbreak (and how) it so i can play .iso games from my Hard Disk?

There is no jailbreak for 3.72 yet. You need to buy a downgrader (progskeet or e3 flasher) to get to 3.55, then jailbreak it. There is talk of a jailbreak coming for 3.55, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
Hey dude.
1) latest userfriendly CFW atm is 3.55
2) Downgrading is only possible if u were not stock 3.56+ (i think because of the metldr2)
3) Best solution is 2 w8 4 CFW 3.73 (incase u dont update 2 OFW4, that would meen no PSN 4 u)
4) iso playing is not the style it works 2day. (just simple file-structure without container, [But playing backups from usb-hdd is possible])
