Where's the source, did you make this yourself, why isn't it tested, what base is it, why don't you test it yourself?

Please no-one try this firmware unless you see positive results from a trusted source(Youtube is NEVER a trusted source), it could brick or give you 3.56+ OFW, and especially don't try it if you don't own a flasher.

imma check it out real quick, and by real quick i mean, in about 1 and a half hours when its done downloading from that crappy host

if it's not fake, then i believe it would be in form of patched emu files for ps2, i.e. the same way how ps1 emu was patched lately - there is no need for entire firmware for such kind of tasks. however, it's possible that it's real and contains such patched files as part of a whole firmware for more convenient and easy installation. who knows...i count on No0bZiLLa to try it out...

[EDIT] i downloaded it - it's based on 3.55 and actually "ps2_softemu.self" is the same one from the famous "p3dwik-ps2compatfiles.rar", but "p3dwik-ps2compatfiles.rar" was possible to use only in Factory Service Mode (FSM). also, this firmware contains additional patches. so, there is quite good chance it's not fake and actually solved the problem of using "p3dwik-ps2compatfiles.rar" without FSM as well maybe improve the compatibility with those additional patches it contains. so, No0bZiLLa test results became even more interesting now.

TeamSGK FW CDEX-4.31 v4.2-SGKFW.PUP... say 355.000 when you select "install from usb media" so i am not to sure, has anyone used SGK firmware any? did you like it?
