Is it possible to code something into the PS3 or make a home brew to put the PS3 in standby mode with power still going to the ram so that you don't have to jailbreak it every time you start up the console.
Something like the what the PSP can do.
Just an idea.
With the PSP I believe that's because of the custom firmware so...essentially you'll just have to wait until someone releases a custom firmware for the PS3. It's good to see that some people have made some progress in that direction so yeah...we'll see what comes :)
Personally I'd prefer a mode that completely powered down the console so you didn't have to unplug it each time to jailbreak it (so less stress/chance of surges on it's components).
