ps3 slim shuts off after one beep

this started after my jailbreak adventures. Anyway when I click the power btn, it turns blue, hear a beep then it shuts down. Even the red standby light is gone. I cannot do the restore thingie because the blue light does not stay on over 1 second. Its a ps3 slim, thats just out of warranty

Hmmm test power supply? if thats the case it is a cheap fix.

A blue light? - You sure you don't have a disc jammed inside?

(before trying any of the steps, unplug all your usb stuff, including the dongle of course.)

Try these following steps:

Unplug the slim from the ac in the back, and wait five minutes.
Press and hold the eject button, and then plug in the power at the back.

(or)

Unplug the slim from the ac in the back, and wait five minutes.
Plug in the power at the back, red light should appear.
Then press power, then quickly press the eject, but hold it for 12 seconds!

I have the same problem. Were you able to sort it out?
