Ps3 slim brick

I created a firmware with mfwbuilder that came out sucessful but now my (buddies) slim is stuck in a update loop.

If I downgrade will I loose everything on the hard drive?

Can you give more details? How is your ps3 stuck on an update loop? What firmware did you try to flash?

No, you won't lose anything. Good luck getting out of the loop, it took me hours when that happened to me.

I did a downgrade to get out of it so I did loose every file luckaly I did this on my b-day so he didn't get too upset, and I fixed it in the end.

It was the firmware mfw builder made that broke it.
