Just wanted to say some thing that's been on my mind for a long time. You don't have to agree whit me its just my thoughts;-)
When Failoverfl0w said that the PS3 security was a epic fail, in 27th Chaos Communication Congress 2010 held in Berlin, Germany. They and almost all people said that Sony had done a major misstep when they got rid of the ability to install Linux on the PS3.
They said it was just because of that that they hacked the PS3, and that it was a epic fail security. To that I say man are you all a bunch of lairs or what:-p It took like 4 years before any one hacked the system, and they say it was a epic fail system lol. Man how many of you all used Linux then or are using it now? lol. It wasn't that we wanted to have Linux back, it was so we could play "Free" games!!! It was not until PSJailBreak came out that we got any where.
Failoverfl0w said it was a epic fail security and that the system was fully hacked now and now Sony can't do shit about it. lol. What did Sony do? Guss what? Made a new update and we where back to square one. So don't say it was a epic fail, because it wasn't.
Don't get me wrong I'am very grateful to the scene. And I hope every buddy are thankful and grateful to all the hackers that put there free time to get us all these great homebrew apps and CFW for the PS3.
Me myself bought the PSJailBreak when it came out, and I'am using CFW 3.55 kmeaw now.
For all of you that want to have best of two worlds. I would recommend buying another PS3 for psn play like me. Having one hacked and one on official firmware is the best. A PS3 does not even cost that much any more, especially used. I bought my sec one from a friend of a friend for like 140$ and it was the 60 GB one as my old one, so I can play PS2 games to on it. Now I have two 60 GB PS3s;-)
Hope I did not offend any one, just wanted to vent some thought that I have had for a long time.
