If it does, like True Blue's online gaming and new game support, then it is up to the needs of the user to decide if it is worth the price.
I almost never do online gaming, save trophy synchronization. And I am not sure what constitutes as a 'new game' yet, so it is not worth it for me at this point.
But I expect the option to be available.
It's just a paraphrased Mac vs. PC argument.
Buying it because it's shiny? **** off, you're overpaying.
Buying it because you're a graphics/movie/music designer? Go right ahead, you can actually use it.
Doesn't change that you can build a MUCH faster PC for the same price. (Or hell, half the cost of a Mac.)
Yes but people knew what they got themselves into when Geohot got sued. They knew that the jailbreaks would be slow and many devs would pull out. But there is an (option) out there to player newer games and it should be left at that. Some people think that the whole PS3 scene should be free and which it causes drama and uproar when someone wants to charge. But like I said they have the (option) to pay for it or just do something else
