PS3 save trophies and backup game-saves

Dear users,

I did read very much on this website and did still not get any answer to my question. Excuse me if this question can be found on the web.

I have a PS3 120GB Slim version with 3.5. (no jailbreak)
Now i'm waiting for my usb dongle to downgrade and jailbreak it!

My questions:
- How can I save/backup my trophies? (PSN hack or bypass doesn't work any more)
- Is it possible to backup the game-saves of games like GTA4, Call Of Duty, Red Dead redemption, Pes Etc..? I'm asking this because some games can't be saved.

But.. if I backup the the game-saves.. would I get non-synchronised trophies back with the backup?

I was able to backup and restore my trophies but the jailbreak was used. I ftp'd into my system and grabbed the trophies, then did a full backup. Restored and replanted the trophies folder then did a database rebuild through the recovery menu. Without the jailbreak though I'm not sure how to get the trophies back

But if i save the game (external) and place it all back after the jailbreak..
Could i redeem the trophies again with these backups?

Currently there isn't a way to backup your gamesaves/trophies without the assistance of a FTP program or PSN. I'd wait until all the kinks get ironed out in the 3.55 solutions (CFW) and update to that. If you've waited this long already, what's a couple more days?

It is only a few trophies that must bu saved.. (a few of GT5).. the rest is already synched to the PSN network.

But if i backup the game saves of games like GTA4, Call Of Duty, Red Dead redemption, Pes 10 and could i reopend it with 3.41? (after the downgrade)

And what about GT5 and the game saves and tropies.. could i reopen the game saves on 3.41? And will i get the tropies back?

That's just it, a couple of your gamesaves might be protected. You can use the Data Backup Utility in the System XMB to backup your gamesaves and trophies, but anything protected will get left behind (GT5 has protected gamesaves for instance). If you have a phat PS3 that is CECHG or below in model number (a unit that has the 256mb NAND chip) it won't get formatted as part of the downgrade process. Any other model numbers will get formatted. I'd seriously just wait until the 3.55 w/ BM support comes out and then use that. You don't need to format to upgrade, just downgrade.

Well, if you're going to hold out for 3.55 CFW w/ BM support, I'd sell any dongles you purchased because they won't be needed. Actually, I shouldn't say won't be needed. They still can be used for service mode, which might or might not be useful for you. Service mode is used for downgrading and a bunch of other stuff that we don't have access to yet, but should soon.

I downgraded my ps3, messed up, went from:

3.42 to 3.50, to 3.41modefied,

And the only thing it did to me was:

Make my saves no longer work(which i did the hex trick thing that worked for some of my games)
Took all of my profiles and put *'s as the names, except of the last two which said zach* (profile was originally named zach) I renamed mine as it was.
BUT... i kept all of the trophies that i had originally unlocked, and didn't sync any of my trophies. And i suffered from absolutely no data loss... well i cant play any games i purchased from psn... but i didn't really play those games/demos anyway. Hope this story helps kind of. just what i had experienced.
