    Hi, my m8s ps3 think its the 60/80gb has a red screen and wont do anything, it displays some text in many languages. Any one know if this is repairable?
    If so is it easy to fix?

    The RSOD (Red screen of death) generally means a bad update or flash. Some have been able to fix it by reinstalling the update via USB drive and recovery console. But in my case I had to send it to sony.

    Yeah, the red screen of death. Sucks mooseballs, had to send mine away and took weeks to get it back. Didn't cost anything though since I still had warranty. If you're lucky you can fix it yourself, just google a bit.
