    Well ive just downloaded mortal kombat (charged) BLUS-30522 and i was wandering how do i install the patch that comes along with it. It is a pkg file thanks

    you mean backed it up i think not downloaded and you put it on the root of your usb and go to instal files on the ps3 under game tab scroll to it and click x to instal jobs a good 1

    Put the pkg file on the root of a USB drive. Attatch USB drive to the USB port on the right side on the PS3. Go to 'Install PKG files', select the pkg file and run.

    PS, when you make a copy of a disc you own to the hard drive, that's called ripping. 'Download' implies piracy, which is a no no.
