ps3 not reading games at 3.55

so i have a ps3 cecha01 at 3.55 and it wont play blu-ray games, i am able to play ps2 nd dvd/bluray movies well but not games whan i try to load a game it gives me error codes 800b50f and 800b514 this has been going on for a while now what should i do to play games i was thing of using multiman but i need to know if that would work. any help is appreciated

have u tried reinstalling ofw 3.55 then reinstalling cfw....is there any more history you know about this ps3....(replaced bdr control board, lazer, any repairs done at all)

yea i have tryed ofw nd rebug nd other cfws but no it does the same thing nd really the ps3 has had no other problems other that that

maybe your laser is on its way out all you can do is test a new laser or br drive if you know someone with a similar model you could test theres in your machine if it works then you know you need a new laser
