PS3 NOT DOWNGRADING....URGENT HELP!!!

Alright, i have read other posts stating that there are some people who are not successful in downgrading from 3.5

i have a 320GB CECH-2506B model
its a japanese model i suppose, my friend go it actually......

i am trying to downgrade it:

Entering Service Mode - Successful
Downgrading to 3.41 - FAILED

what i get to see is that instead of green light which should flash in the 3rd minute, starts flashing just after hardly 30 seconds of pluggin the USB drive with PUP and SELF file............
