PS3 Media Server and cinavia

Hi,

I built a new computer for my parents as a Christmas gift and gave them a 2Tb hard drive with 500+ mkv movies (some DTS audio, some AC3). They have an old PS3 in their living room (latest FW as it's on autoupdate) which is connected to home LAN over ethernet.

I've done quite a lot of reading around here, but it's mostly for custom FW to play copied games etc. All they will use the PS3 for is streaming films using PS3 Media Server. Is there a simpler way to disable cinavia protection?

As far as I know there is no way to disable cinavia on legit PS3s and there is no known ways to remove cinavia from the videos.
