I've had it happen on rebug kmwea an MFW I made..... OFW is now on the unit and am waiting to see if it happens again. generally happens after the system auto turns off. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong with this thing? I even tried another hard drive in it. I can access the recovery menu when it RSODs.

I bought it used running OFW 3.55 installed rebug with a custom boot screen also installed XMB manager and the latest update of the rebug firmware. I only enable the fake save data owner. other than that I think it only ran ofw cant be sure..... So nothing that has ever given me trouble before....

Search for the RSOD fix stuff that was released last month (i think). There was a PUP you updated to which fixed the problem (missing parts of PS3 filesystem)

If you already have 3.55 OFW or CFW you can update to the RSOD pup from that.
