ps3 kamewa 3.55 plays emu's but not games !

can any1 give us some quick advice
got a ps3 40gb here
on 3.55 orig -> 3.55 kamewa
all went fine
installed pkg's - fine
emulators run fine and games on the emulators

when i run a ps3 game it comes up saying update v.1xx availabe so i cancel with O like i do and it just hangs there on a black screen

any ideas ?

BM?
if using MM, you installed the BDEMU.pkg?
If external using MM, you try the select=X method?
Disc in the drive?
Are you launching direct? orare you going back to xmb?

Try finding this somewhere on forums:
"FIX_PERMISSIONS_Waninkoko_Kmeaw_CFW_3.55.pkg"

I had same problems and this pkg fixed them.

dope, forgot about fix permissions lol, but seriously tho, when asking for help, you need to put more info, theres a lot of things that could cause such problems :)

then installing BD addon

file permissions get patched auto with MM

just wont load any PS3 game
i have a game in the drive too
ive tried booting direct - no go
booting to XMB then thru the BD icon - no go
tried booting thru PS3_GAME - no go

also any FTP progs wont run either
blackbox v1.2 signed ive installed it just gives an error code at start

fix permissions.pkg, install that, dont rely on MM fix.

if all else fails, reinstall kmeaw, and or make sure the checksum is the right one.

ive tried a fresh install of ofw then cfw
still same
ill try the fix permissions u said

the firmware is spot on as ive used it on a few diff consoles

im trying killzone 3 > i start it, it gives the ps move screens, then goes to the update to 1.03 screen i press O to cancel the update and it locks up right there on that screen.

so is just 1 game?
if it is, please next time say so, instead of just having people figure out stuff that does not needs to be figured out.
have you tried desabling the net on your ps3? that way you dont get the update screen.

The game works flawless here, i even ripped all the 3D out of it and still works fine.

So you might have a bad rip in your hands bud.
