i have a p3hub 2 and flashed it first with firmware ver 1.7 i then reflashed it with ver 1.71 both times using p3hub 2 firmware uploader 1.1 on my pc.



Everything at first worked fine then this morning i tried to activate my p3hub 2 on my ps3 (running on 3.41 firmware) and it will not load, on the ps3hub 2 the led stays red after it flashing red and blue and the ps3 will not boot up and i am just left with a blank screen.



On removal of the p3hub 2 from my ps3, the ps3 will boot up as normal.



i thought that it might be something to do with the firmware on 1.71 so i tried to reflash my p3hub 2 again but my computers will not recognise it now ?



i have tried 2 different computers one being the one i originally flashed the unit with and the second my lap top.

both computers recognise it as a usb hub but when i try to flash the unit by holding the upgrade button my computers do not recognise it.



When first plugged into my computer the leds flash blue and red and then the red led stays on permantly



I cannot understand why this unit is not working and can only presume it is a faulty hub as one day it was working fine on the ps3 then the next it wasn't working, can anyoney confirm that this is a faulty unit ? Or if there is a fix for this can you let me know.


My PS3 is a slim with 3.41 firmware ( it hasn't been downgrade from 3.50)
My OS for both my computers is XP and i have installed the VC Runtime enviroment package on both and at first the unit did work on my pc but not now and is only 7 days old :-(

Anyone help ??
